Balance Power is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity within our Planning Team at the front-end of energy generation projects. We are excited by the recent growth and diversification of our projects, and this is a good opportunity to join an ambitious team that will provide you with plenty of scope for career progression in the coming years. The successful candidate will work within the Development Team, working on a diverse range of renewable energy projects.

The main duties will consist of:

• Preparation of planning reports and other written material to support the delivery of projects
• Conducting site reviews and appraisals
• Organise and coordinate with various external bodies (i.e., planners, consultants, local councils)
• Attendance and contribution at meetings with project teams, planning authorities, and stakeholders
• Managing project budgets and external appointments on projects they manage
• Liaising with residents and politicians at community consultation events
